How do I recognize high-quality heating?

High-quality heaters enable safe and long-lasting operation, even under harsh industrial conditions. The purchase price is amortized over a much longer period of use and daily use of the product and its reliable function ensure satisfied users who can in turn produce quality.

Of course, every manufacturer claims to deliver high-quality products. So how can you tell the difference?

1) Thermal engineering design

Depending on the design (and calculation), the required heating output can be achieved for a given area to be heated using a heating element of different lengths. The longer (and therefore more expensive) the heating element, the lower the specific load and the more uniform the heat transfer. Conversely, short (less expensive) heating elements have a high specific load and - depending on the heat transfer - possibly a shorter service life.

2) Materials and components used

In a heating system, the heat resistance of all materials and components must first be guaranteed at operating temperature in continuous operation. Compromises are sometimes made even in the definition of “continuous operation”. For us this means 24/7/365 and accordingly all of our products are subjected to extensive long-term tests lasting several months in an external laboratory during development. In addition, experiences from many years of practical operation are regularly incorporated into improvements.

High-quality and safe (certified) components:

  • A robust connection cable with the correct conductor cross-section

  • Housing and connectors made of impact-resistant plastics

  • A robust housing made of EPP (Expanded PolyPropylene)

  • Mechanical components such as buckles, clasps and hooks made of break-resistant plastics in an industrial design

3) Labeling, documentation, packaging

  • Nameplate with clearly visible technical data, manufacturer contact and CE marking.

  • Declaration of Conformity

  • Easy-to-understand operating instructions in German

  • Well thought-out packaging that protects the product during transport and ensures safe storage when not in use.
